Symega, a sister concern of Synthite Industries, is a leading Food Ingredients Manufacturer in seasonings, colours & flavours. With an R&D facility and a 150 MT/month (pilot) manufacturing plant, they ventured into Plant-based Protein Products space.
I was roped in to help with their GTM strategy & marketing activities. From June ‘22, I also assisted them with customer success initiatives & business development.

Bose India was a wholly owned subsidiary of Bose Corporation with retail presence across India & a web-store. I started my career at Bose and worked across the country in various positions.
Timeline of responsibilities
HEG Coordinator (October 1, 2008 to February 16, 2011)
I was responsible for the Hotel Events Group at Bose India, conducting roadshows across India to identify potential markets. The sales generated during and after the events helped sustain the operations, resulting in a business channel with a healthy return on investment.
Handled the call-centre for Bose India, offering both sales (telephonic & online) and customer support with a 6 member team.
Key Accounts: Was responsible for sales of specialty products (Aviation Headsets & products for musicians)
Managed online sales from Bose India’s website.
Retail Sales (June 1, 2007 to September 8, 2008)
Worked as a retail sales person (Demonstration Specialist) at Bose stores in Chennai, Hyderabad & Delhi.
FlixStock proposed a novel, technology backed, solution for e-commerce imagery: create model imagery for any fashion accessory without an elaborate photo-shoot! However, there were high resistance from even early adopters as it would mean disrupting decades old process & entrusting a technology they do not fully comprehend.
To make the adoption smoother, we decided to break the offering and start with a smaller part which will have the least resistance – the post photoshoot editing, which was already outsourced by most companies.
A team member and I began working on branding and a website, launching the business within two months with a budget of less than $3,000. We employed frugal marketing and automations to generate great traction and start conversations.
Identifying the potential, a sales team was quickly assembled under Raman Singh and we scaled our sales & marketing outreach immediately. Within 6 months, ImageEdit was bringing in 5 figures (USD) every month and was doubling every quarter!
